Her most influential teachers are Donna Farhi, Erich Schiffmann, Max Strom, Annie Carpenter and Betsy Ceva. She delights in creating art, writing, laughing with her husband and daughter, and walking in nature with her dog Meatball.

Testimonials

“Kim has been a strong influence in my life and teaching for over a decade. Her experience and natural ability as a teacher is just the beginning. Not only has she taught more students, classes, workshops and teacher training hours than most teachers ever will (!), she’s well versed in body mechanics, alignment and safety. Kim also has an intuitive gift for teaching for teaching and working with people that is rare to find and impossible to teach. Any student, of varying backgrounds and abilities, will find working with Kim a pleasure, and any studio should be so lucky to have Kim as a teacher and teacher trainer as part of their faculty.”

“For over 10 years, I practiced yoga here in L.A. with the expert guidance of Kim Fisch. Kim is a patient, extremely knowledgeable and supportive instructor who has done wonders helping me improve my flexibility, strength and spinal alignment. She centered my practice on poses to alleviate the pain I experience due to my severe scoliosis and they successfully provided me with much-needed relief. In addition, Kim is a highly effective motivator who tailors her lessons to the specific needs and goals of her clients. In short, I cannot say enough good things about her teaching method and her wonderfully positive attitude.”

I was blessed to have Kim for my 200hr teacher training. Kim’s incredible knowledge of yoga and anatomy matched with her compassion made her the ideal teacher. Kim was thoughtful in her teaching and safely led us through practices with excellent cueing and intention setting. I’m grateful for Kim and to have a piece of her when I teach classes now.
